The Els Center of Excellence

The Els Center of Excellence is a world-class facility hosting leading-edge programs and services.  Based in Jupiter, Florida, The Center opened the first two buildings of its 26-acre campus in August 2015 and is on track to be a game-changing resource in the field of autism and a leading example of  what can be available to individuals on the spectrum.  Having all the essential components on one campus, is not only a game-changer for the local autism community, but makes the facility the perfect hub for a variety of global outreach activities. This ensures The Els Center of Excellence’s positive influence is felt far beyond the boundaries of its walls. Once the campus is completed, the impact will be magnified!

On the campus:

  • Lower School facility that houses The Learning Center, a nonprofit, tuition free, Palm Beach County charter school serving students with autism ages 3-14
  • Upper School facility that houses The Learning Academy, a nonprofit, tuition free, Palm Beach County charter school serving students with autism ages 14-21
  • Auditorium Building
  • Two Playgrounds, and Golf Practice Facility

Coming soon:

  • The Sensory Arts Garden and Pavilion will open on September 25th with a Grand Opening celebration for invited guests

Fundraising continues to secure funding for the Sports Facilities, Cafeteria, Adult Services Building and Medical & Research Services Facility.

The architecture and interior design firm, Peacock & Lewis, won the 2016 American Society of Interior Design (ASID), South Florida Chapter, Institutional Design Award for The Els Center of Excellence.
