Participants will demonstrate various rhythms with provided rhythm sticks or homemade rhythm sticks. Participants will learn basic rhythms and note values, apply those rhythms to a variety of patterns and well-known songs and demonstrate them individually and/or with the group. The music therapist will use visual supports, videos, mirroring exercises and modeling to increase success. Don’t worry about being perfect! Just grab your sticks and have some fun!
