Licensed Occupational Therapist – Part Time
Job summary:
This position includes the implementation of Occupational Therapy to include early intervention through adult services for the Els for Autism Foundation. The OT will conduct intakes, administer informal and formal evaluations using the latest evidence-based practices, and create intervention plans and home programs in support of program treatment and delivery.
The OT may work on a transdisciplinary GOALS team implementing a train the trainer model of intervention to international families, therapists and their child/children. The OT will be required to integrate parent training into all treatment plans and will provide strategies needed for optimal occupational performance. The OT may provide support and training to Adult Services staff in support of adults in vocational programs. The OT may serve as a practicum supervisor for OT Assistants participating in Internship programs on campus.
