Become a Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Els for Autism Foundation. Volunteers are an essential part of our program and your generous offer of support is greatly appreciated. Please take a few minutes to review the available volunteer positions below. If something fits both your availability and interest, we invite you to click the Volunteer Registration button below and begin the process.

Session 1: January 18 – March 12

Available Volunteer Positions

Spring Break Camp Volunteer
Time Commitment:  8 am – 3 pm
March 15-19

  • Number of Volunteers Needed: 4
  • Responsibilities: Assist counselors in supporting participants during camp activities / Working directly with individuals with autism

Musical Theater Volunteer
Time Commitment:  Thursdays, 2:45-4:15 PM
January 18- June 18

  • Number of Volunteers Needed: 2 (virtual)
  • Responsibilities: Assist drama instructions in supporting students during class instruction / Working directly with individuals with autism

Inter-Ability Chorus Volunteer
Time Commitment:  Mondays, 2:15-3:45 PM
January 27 – May 11

  • Number of Volunteers Needed: 4
  • Responsibilities: Assist instructions in supporting students during class instruction / Working directly with individuals with autism

Golf Volunteer
Time Commitment: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 2:30-3:30 PM

  • Number of Volunteers Needed: 3
  • Responsibilities: Assist golf instructors in managing, prompting, and modeling instruction for students with autism.

Educational & Vocational Program Material Support Volunteer
Time Commitment: hours are flexible between 8 am – 4 pm
2 hours weekly

  • Number of Volunteers Needed: 1-2
  • Responsibilities: Meet with team members to obtain materials, assemble materials related to clinical, vocational, and educational programs. Activities may include but are not limited to cutting, laminating, and printing program material.

The Learning Center Volunteer

  • Charter school on campus serving students ages 3-14

  • Charter school on campus serving students ages 3-14
