New! Inter-Ability Chorus

Erica Lyles, Music Therapist, piloted the Inter-Ability Chorus this past fall to great success. This is a wonderful addition to the Foundation’s programs for adolescents and young adults. The Inter-Ability Chorus culminated in a magical Holiday Concert on December 13th, an event enjoyed by all.

The Inter-Ability Chorus is a community choir for individuals with special needs ages 16 +. Participants must be dedicated and committed to the chorus, willing & able to participate, and have a desire to learn how to perform in the community. This group is open to verbal and non-verbal individuals with communication devices!

Participants will:

  • learn singing skills and techniques
  • gain confidence and self-esteem
  • enhance communication
  • develop self-expression while engaging with peers
