Sam’s Sibs Stick Together Room (Sibling Support Group)

Sam’s Sibs Stick Together Room is a sibling support group addressing the needs of siblings of individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. The group is led by an Els for Autism Clinical Team Member.

Sam’s Sibs Stick Together Room provides a safe space for siblings to connect, gain support, access mentorship, express their thoughts and feelings, and discuss critical issues related to each participant’s experiences as a sibling to someone with special needs. The minimum number of participants to run each individual group is five. Spots are limited on a first-come, first-serve basis.

In-Person: Ages 8-12 Years Old
Meets the 4th Tuesday of Each Month from 5 – 6 p.m. EST on the Els for Autism Campus
(Fall Semester Dates: September 26, October 24, November 28)

Virtual: Ages 13 – 17 Years Old
Meets the 2nd Tuesday of Each Month from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. EST on Zoom
(Fall Semester Dates: September 12, October 10, November 14)

Cost $150

Fall Semester Fee Includes:

    • One 45-minute intake session prior to beginning the group
    • Monthly Group Sessions
    • Overview of Sibling Strategies and Activities following each monthly group
    • Up-to-date resources
