As the Behavior Services Coordinator, Ashley works closely with all staff at the Els for Autism Foundation to ensure that the principles of behavior analysis are infused throughout all recreational, vocational and other therapeutic programs. Through the Behavior Analysis Services and Education (BASE) program, clinic-based ABA programs are offered to promote verbal behavior, increase play skills, improve academic and adaptive skills and decrease challenging or inappropriate behaviors. The BASE program also emphasizes the role of parents in the development of therapeutic programs for individuals with ASD. Parent training and education is an essential component in helping children with ASD reach their highest potential.
