Erica Lyles, MT-BC, is the Els for Autism Foundation board-certified music therapist Erica received her bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from Maryville University in St. Louis. She has had seven years of experience as a music therapist in Palm Beach County with local organizations and private practice and six of those years of experience with kids and teens with autism. She is the music therapist for The Learning Academy and The Learning Center at The Els Center of Excellence campus; both entities serve kids and teens with autism. She provides music instruction through therapy-based interventions and activities.
Erica facilitates music therapy groups and individual sessions for ages 6 through adult. She manages scheduling, communications, session operations and documentation for music therapy, dance/movement therapy and art therapy for all ages through the Foundation. She also corresponds with the program contractors and assists with training and development. Within her music therapy practices, Erica believes everyone can be successful in the music-making experience!
Erica coordinates with the transdisciplinary teams at the schools and Foundation to ensure client and student needs and goals are met through these world-class art therapy programs. She doesn’t hesitate to collaborate with community volunteers and even blends creative works from the various groups with the schools and vice versa.
