Jessica Prescott Brees

Jessica Prescott Brees, M.S., OTR/L is an Els for Autism Foundation occupational therapist.  Jessica received her bachelor’s degree in Health Science from the University of Florida in 2007 and her master’s degree in Science in Rehabilitation Sciences/Occupational Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2010.  She participated in two medical mission trips to Africa during her last year of graduate school, leading the rehabilitation team on her second trip.  She then presented two posters, based on her experiences in Africa, at the 2010 American Occupational Therapy Conference and Expo in Orlando.  Jessica first began working with clients diagnosed with autism in 2010 while completing her Level II Fieldwork at a private clinic in Jupiter, FL.  Her passion for pediatrics grew and she quickly accepted a position with a local pediatric therapy clinic in January 2011. Since then she has focused her experience working with pediatrics in private clinics, nurseries, homes, and schools.  She worked at the Hope Center for Autism for 4 years and presented employee trainings on the following topics: Sensory Feeding Problems, Sensory Diets, and Incorporating Handwriting Without Tears in the Classroom.  At Els for Autism, Jessica is currently involved with the Global Outreach Autism Learning Services (GOALS) program and treating private clients.
