Julie has 30 years of experience working in recreation settings with individuals of all ages. She began her career working within inclusive recreation programs in Palm Beach County and went on to create and implement specialized program services for children, teens, adults, and seniors with autism and other related disabilities in the community. In addition, she has two decades of successful partnerships working directly with city municipalities, recreation program services, after school programs, volunteer programs, and specialized day camps. Julie also created and managed adult day programs, which provided hands-on learning experiences for participants in the areas of daily living skills, social skills, community inclusion outings, and employment skills. In the area of employment, she managed a program offering ongoing support to employed individuals to help them reach their highest potential in their positions and work toward future career goals.
As the Day Program Coordinator, Julie is helping the Adult Services department develop and implement a Day Program for adults who have completed high school.
