Sarah Shephard is the Els for Autism Foundation Adult Day Program Instructor. Sarah graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Family, Youth, and Community Science, and a minor in Disabilities in Society in the Spring of 2018. She gained hands-on experience working with teens with various developmental disabilities during her college years. In 2017, she completed an internship with the Arc of Palm Beach County where she gained additional experience working with individuals with special needs. Following her graduation from the University of Florida, she began working for the Arc as a Recreation Lead. This experience afforded her the opportunity to work with both children and adults with various developmental disabilities. Most recently she worked as a Personal Care Provider for an adult with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
