An Els for Autism Affiliate Event is a volunteer-run fundraiser that includes Els for Autism as a benefiting charity of the event. The event can take place at any time and any location around the world. While you may immediately think of a golf tournament, we have seen a wide variety of events over the years. From concerts, to pet shows, to 5K run/walks, to fashion shows, we welcome any and all exciting event ideas!
Each Affiliate Event host (an individual, family, company, organization, etc.) is responsible for the event’s program, fundraising efforts, activities, registrations, and volunteers. This allows the event host to have creative control of the event all while giving back to a great cause.

Please note: Els for Autism is unable to cover start-up costs, so we recommend that event hosts plan to recoup expenses through ticket sales, registration fees, and/or sponsorships.
When you host an Affiliate Event, Els for Autism will support you with:
- Branded gifts for each guest attending
- Auction packages featuring Ernie Els memorabilia
- A personalized event webpage to promote your fundraiser and collect donations
- Remote support from our Events Team throughout your planning
- Event signage, with only shipping fees required
- Use of the Els for Autism logo (with prior approval) for promotional purposes
- Donation receipt upon delivery of your event’s contribution
Additionally, Affiliate Events that raise $15,000 (18,000 CAD) or more by September 30, 2025 at 3 PM EST. will receive an invitation for two golfing guests, plus one non-golfing guest each, to the 2025 Golf Challenge Grand Finale on November 6-8, 2025, at the Baha Mar Resort in Nassau, The Bahamas.
We recommend collecting donations using one of the following methods:
- Affiliate Event host can collect all the funds and write a personal check to ‘Els for Autism’
- Affiliate Event guests can write checks directly to ‘Els for Autism’ and note your Affiliate Event title in the memo line

The 2025 Golf Challenge Grand Finale, the culmination of the Golf Challenge regional event series, will be held in Nassau, The Bahamas on November 6-8, 2025. Teams, sponsors, and Affiliate Events who raise $15,000 (18,000 CAD) or more by the fundraising deadline of September 30, 2025 at 3 PM EST., will be invited to enjoy a two-day extravaganza of golf and entertainment at the Grand Finale. All guests are welcome to attend a welcome party, awards ceremony, and a fabulous gala celebration.
Els for Autism offers innovative, evidence-based programs for families and individuals across the lifespan in three primary impact areas: Early Intervention & Educational Services, Recreation Services, and Adult Services. We serve families around the world, offering virtual services and in-person programs and services at The Els Center of Excellence® campus in Jupiter, Florida. Els for Autism continues to expand its programs to enhance the lives of individuals and families impacted by autism, with 87 cents of every dollar raised directly supporting these vital services.
