Rachel Pickett is an advocate with a strong commitment to improving supports and systems for autistic individuals across the lifespan. After receiving a late autism diagnosis, Rachel sought community, belonging, and a deeper understanding of neurodiversity—an experience that led her to Els for Autism. Through involvement in adult social groups, employment inclusion initiatives, and connections with staff and peers, Rachel has gained valuable insight into compassionate programming, community building, and inclusive practices.

Rachel brings a background in corporate process improvement and a passion for applying universal design to enhance accessibility, employment inclusion, and service delivery. She is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work and plans to complete a Clinical Psychology PhD program, with a focus on autism, mental health, and diagnostic assessment. As a member of the Autism Advisory Board, Rachel is dedicated to contributing lived experience, amplifying autistic voices, and advancing initiatives related to adult diagnostics, mental health, research equity, employment inclusion, and clinician education.
