Connor & Friends Care

Els for Autism recognizes that transitioning to adulthood can present unique challenges and opportunities for autistic individuals.

connor and marvin

Connor Sturgis, an Els for Autism Advisory Board Member, a graduate of The Learning Academy—a charter school for individuals with ASD located on our campus—and a longtime Publix employee, understands first-hand the importance of inclusive programs that support adults with autism.

Now, through his ‘Connor & Friends Cares’ campaign, he’s on a mission to support the programs and services our team provides to autistic adults. “I’m trying to raise $100,000 to help young adults get jobs out in the community like they helped me get a job at Publix.”

Help Connor and his friends meet their goal by giving today!

18 Days of Giving

Thank you to everyone who helped us reach our GivingTuesday Goal

As our team continues to change the culture of sports and recreation for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, we need your help! To expand our recreation offerings, we are fundraising to build a specialized autism-friendly recreation complex that will include a gymnasium, aquatic center, and splash pad. With these features, we will be able to offer a dedicated indoor space for activities during inclement weather and provide water safety and drowning prevention for our clients.
