Cryptocurrency Donations

We are now accepting cryptocurrency donations!

There are many ways to positively enhance the lives of individuals impacted by autism, their families, and caregivers.

FAQ 1. Can I donate with a cryptocurrency not listed above?

Yes, you can donate cryptocurrency other than Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USD Coin. On the platform we are using for cryptocurrency donations, Every.org, they offer different cryptocurrency options in addition to the three listed.

FAQ 2. Can I donate anonymously?

Yes, you can donate anonymously. When you donate there is a checkbox that is automatically filled out indicating you are willing to share your information with Els for Autism Foundation®. However, you do have the option to uncheck the box if you please.

FAQ 3. Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes, your tax receipt is automatically emailed to you after you completed the donation.  The platform the Foundation is using for cryptocurrency donations, is Every.org.  They will send you an end of year receipt for all donations that have gone through Every.org that calendar year.

For donors who create an Every.org account you are able to access this information on your own through the Every.org giving dashboard.

Donors based outside the US  should consult with a qualified advisor regarding the tax or equivalent rules covering deductibility in their applicable non-US jurisdiction.

Please consult with your tax advisor to determine whether your donation is tax-deductible in whole or in part. Nothing in this communication is intended to constitute legal or tax advice.

FAQ 4. Is my donation refundable?

The Foundation will not be able to refund cryptocurrency donations. Please make the proper decision before initiating your donation.

FAQ 5. How much of my donation will be used for individuals impacted by autism, their families, and caregivers?

Net of a transaction fee, 100% of your cryptocurrency donation will fund programs and services supporting individuals impacted by autism, their families, and caregivers.
