Research Goals and Methodology
Els for Autism Foundation® staff conducts research to assess methods, pedagogy, and technologies to improve socially significant behaviors for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Research methodology may include direct measurement of the observed behavior or analysis of qualitative or quantitative data.
The goals of this research are the dissemination of the findings to the greater autism community and the application of identified interventions with individuals with ASD through the lifespan.
The Seaver Els Institute
The Seaver Els Institute is an affiliation between The Seaver Autism Center for Research and Treatment at Mount Sinai of New York and the Els for Autism Foundation. Founded in 2018, The Seaver Els Institute provides the opportunity for students, clients, and families to participate in research that will help advance understanding of autism spectrum disorder. It is located on The Els Center of Excellence® campus in Jupiter, FL.
Ongoing Research
Els for Autism Foundation is currently conducting a number of research studies at no cost. These studies are open to a wide range of individuals and ages, including individuals with and without an autism diagnosis. Participating in this research is incredibly helpful to the autism community and advancing our knowledge of autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
