This special Yoga class focuses on enhancing stamina, flexibility, energy and strength in a fun and motivating social environment appropriate for individuals with Special Needs. All classes include warm ups, breathing exercises, developmentally appropriate yoga poses, meditation and relaxation techniques, stretching and cool downs. This Special Needs Yoga class offers a full body experience of physical fitness while strengthening our hearts and minds through the philosophical traditions of yoga.
Fee: $120/session ($20 per class for 6 weeks)
On-site classes (meet at Tennis Court) 3:30 – 4:15 p.m. and 4:30 – 5:15 p.m. If on-site classes are canceled due to weather, class will be offered virtually. Virtual class (Zoom video conference) 5:20 – 6:15 p.m.
