Summer Camp 2019

Movin’ & Groovin’ Fitness & Arts Camp

Movin’ & Groovin’ is a fun-filled fitness and arts-based summer camp held at The Els Center of Excellence campus that is designed to help build communication and social skills while promoting fitness, adaptive skills, and group participation.  Highly skilled staff in the areas of speech and language, behavior analysis, sports and fitness, special education, and music therapy will work with participants to capitalize on areas of strength and improve areas of weakness.

 

Activities include:

Golf – Fitness – Music – Tennis – Art  Cooking – Water Play – Leisure Field Trip and more!

Registration opens to the general public on May 20 | Registration deadline is June 3 | Payment deadline is June 14  Financial scholarships are available

Session 1: $756
July 1 – July 12 (no camp July 4)

Session 2: $840
July 15 – July 26

Session 1 & 2 (four weeks): $1520

Camp Hours:
8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
After Care Hours: 2:30 – 5 p.m.

After Care Cost: $130/week or
$125/week if attending all four weeks

Please Note:
This camp is designed for leisure and recreational purposes and will not engage participants in academic activities specific to their IEP.

The camp will feature small groups with a 3:1 ratio. If requiring additional assistance, campers must come with a 1-1 that has passed our background check or can provide documentation of a cleared background check completed within the 30 days prior to the first day of camp.
